- FINALLY! Both Funny Farm and Spies Like Us are getting quality releases. At long last, after having such crappy DVD releases from forever ago, it'll be great having a quality copy of both of those great Chevy Chase films. Oh, and Frantic is finally getting a quality release, too. Now, Warner Brothers, would you please, Please, PLEASE get a good release of Deathtrap (one of my all-time favorite movies) released?
- Check out this awesome video tour through the ISS. The first part of the video isn't so good, but the rest of it is great.
- And on the subject of NASA, congrats to Endeavor for an excellent night launch (most likely the last one).
- Google has added "street view" to the mountains and what-not in Vancouver for the Olympics. Too cool.
- Woo hoo! Kevin Smith is bringing Harold Faltermeyer back to studio film scoring for his upcoming (uber-R-rated) comedy Cop Out. Awesome. Perhaps we'll finally get a score release of the Fletch films released. Smith is a self-confessed major fanboy of Fletch. It's amusing that Faltermeyer did an end title song for Cop Out bringing back Keith Forsey & Patti LaBelle. Be interesting to hear how throw-back that'll be. My copy of the CD is already pre-ordered.
- Another awesome Muppet video goes online. I love the new Muppet online vids.
- Of course the big tech news of today is Google's launch of Buzz. It'll be interesting to see how well it takes off.
- Very cool - Snowmageddon in time lapse.
- The Russian version of base jumping
- Good grief. Speech-To-Speech translation.
- And I'll leave you with this insanity
